NOTTING HILL

Notting Hill always makes me feel like a character in a movie - it’s so picture perfect and always offers a sense of escapism for me. Plus, where better than to trace the same roads that Julia Roberts once walked.

There’s no shortage of amazing places to eat in Notting Hill but I think my favourite for an amazing coffee and pastry has to be Laylas Bakery. They have the most incredible variety including classics like a cinnamon bun to different variety on danishes, such as a raspberry and custard. They also do intimate dinner party evenings which is so special.

For dinner, an all-time favourite of mine is Gold. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food is just mouth-watering - they do this Burrata and Charred Peach dish that you must try!

If you’re heading down for the day, I’d recommend heading to Westbourne Grove. They have beautiful coffee spots such as Ottelengi or Daysleford Farm Shop, amazing stores for some shopping including Reformation and Free People and there’s even a FaceGym nearby - such a treat! All the roads near there have the infamous colourful houses - it’s such a fun place to walk around.

CHELSEA & FULHAM

This part of London just offers absolutely everything you could ever want; amazing brunch spots, incredible fitness classes, independent stores and your high-street favourites…it’s the area that keeps on giving!

For brunch, I love Local hero or Ella’s. The food is just so good in both, as well as the coffee and they create an environment where you can sit back and just relax. Oh and Hallies does the best rosemary and olive oil cake - you have to try it if you are in this neck of the woods!

For workouts, there is so much variety that it’s hard to choose a couple of favourites but I would say Paula’s bodybarre and Ride Republic are too of my go tos.

If you are looking for a workout that isn’t inside, I love running along the river. The light is just beautiful and the views never get old.

Chelsea also has an amazing Saturday farmer’s market that is fully independent. Food or flowers, there’s plenty to choose from! Then head to Kings Road for a spot of shopping (window or not)!

Chelsea is also great if you’re looking to do something a little different; from the famous Chelsea Flower Show to the Saatchi Gallery - there is always something lovely to do!

WEST END

Let’s talk theater! I have recently seen Pretty Woman and Moulin Rouge and both were absolutely exceptional. There is something about seeing a live show that feels so special and the West End always has an incredible variety for you to choose from!

For dinner or drinks, the west-end is perfect whether you are finishing work in the area, or playing tourist for a while. I absolutely love Sticks n Sushi for dinner and then heading somewhere for a cocktail - the Experimental Cocktail Club is always fun. Just make sure you book places in advance as it can get pretty busy!

The best thing about the West End is that it is so close to other pockets of London too. With Winter fast approaching, I love walking down to Somerset House and checking out the ice skating rink! It always makes me feel so festive and looks so beautiful as well.
