Dressing for the transitional period can be hard. If you struggle to know how to style your pieces, or are just looking for some inspiration, we’ve pulled together some tips and tricks to help you dress effortlessly this Autumn.
BACK TO BASICS
Our first tip is to ensure you have key pieces in your capsule wardrobe. Classic long sleeved tops are an essential for this time of year. As the weather gets cooler, they provide that extra warmth with the long sleeves, and are a great starting point for any outfit.
Team with leggings, jeans, leather trousers, tailored trousers, skirts (and tights if it’s that little bit colder!) and you’re off to a great start. We love our Move With Me Long Sleeve Top in Tourmaline paired with a black skirt and knee high boots, you can’t go wrong with a classic all-black look.
WE’VE MISSED YOU, JOGGERS
If you’re like us and can’t wait to get back into your comfy, cosy joggers, then this one's for you. Team your oversized joggers with a fitted crop top for an easy, comfortable look. The contrast between a form fitting top and relaxed bottoms work beautifully on any shape. And if it does get slightly colder, simply pair with a matching sweatshirt for an easy, off-duty model vibe. We have four matching SEFI sweat sets available; Peridot, Goldstone, Moonstone and Serpentine. Can’t choose? You can never have too many joggers!
WHEN IN DOUBT, ADD A BLAZER
Blazers are back and an easy way to style up any outfit. Last year they were seen worn with everything and anything, from dresses to matching suits, tracksuits or over activewear. They are great for smartening up any outfit and can add an androgynous edge to your look. Experiment with different colours, and with full length or cropped versions too! Our favourites are a classic black, or a dark grey which works beautifully over our Grey Quartz set.
